Actively Anti-Racist Service to Leisure Readers

I’m excited to announce that library all-stars Becky Spratford and Robin Bradford are bringing their updated Actively Anti-Racist Service to Leisure Readers series to NCLS this winter! This three-part series will consist of two pre-recorded lectures – one on collection development, the other on readers advisory – followed by a live, moderated discussion on February 17 from 1-3pm.

You can get a full class description and information about the presenters on the registration page here.

Prior to the live session, please watch Parts 1&2 of the series. We’ve made the recordings available on our YouTube page, but you’ll need the links to access them:

Part 1: Building Marketing, and Promoting Diverse Collections (and slides)

Part 2: Actively Anti-Racist Service to Leisure Readers (and slides)

You can submit questions for the live session here from now through February 10. If you’re not able to make it to the live session but still have a question you’d like to see the presenters to address, please do send one in. In addition to taking questions from participants during the session, Robin and Becky will also address all questions received through the form.
