If you live in Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and St. Lawrence counties and are:

• Over 62
• Physically disabled
• Hearing impaired or deaf
• Visually impaired or blind
• Homebound or a resident of an institution

You are eligible to sign up for the North Country Library System Books by Mail program.

We will send materials directly by mail, FREE of charge to eligible patrons who need specialized materials, or who are unable to visit their local public library. Institutions and agencies that provide services to individuals in eligible categories also qualify for Home Delivery Service.

All library cardholders have access to e-books and e-audiobooks through the Libby app, which allows readers to change text size, increase contrast, or use a dyslexia font. Libby also works with screen readers. You can find out more about Libby’s accessibility features here.
