The Dexter Free Library is currently accepting resumes and seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Library Director.
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Library Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of library operations to serve the public needs efficiently and effectively. We are seeking a candidate with strong communication skills and progressively responsible library service. This includes supervising personnel, running library activities, reporting and budgets, following board policies, and coordinating library services. Experience with modern library management software, social media and computer skills. Education requirements at least 2 years of full-time study at a college, university or equivalent. Duties include working with children, and a background check is required.
Salary and Benefits:
Part-time hours are flexible with a pay rate of $25 an hour.
