It’s our 75th anniversary, and this year we’re bringing extra sparkle. Join us on Thursday, September 14, at the Harbor Hotel in Clayton as we recognize 75 years of collaboration in the North Country!
After a brief welcome from NCLS board and staff, we’ll dive right into our keynote address, presented by New York State Librarian Lauren Moore. A plated lunch will be served, and attendees will have a chance to meet and network with other library staff and trustees.
After lunch, Attorney Stephanie Adams will present True North Trivia: Essential Knowledge for Trustees, covering topics such as library ethics, policies, board meetings, governance, and NYS and federal laws pertaining to libraries. This session will be conducted in a fun and interactive format, inviting audience participation and questions, with key takeaways presented after the session in a learning checklist.
Registration begins at 9:30am. Dress code: As sparkly as you feel comfortable being in public.
